Heroscape Batrep

I played a quick battle between a Gladiator army and some of the new Wolfpack units designed by the C3V group at Heroscapers.com.

Wolfpack: Arktos, Manauvi, Greyspears, Swiftfangs, Quickspears- 495

Gladiators: Spartacus, Crixus, 3x Capuans- 500

Gladiators win initiative and Crixus leads the Capuans across the bridge. Arktos takes high ground and hurls his spear, but fails to wound. Crixus makes quick work of Arktos, whose spirit goes on the Greyspears.

The Greyspears take a heavy bite out of the Capuans, who keep rolling toward the Wolfpack start zone. As the Greyspears fall, the remaining members of the squad keep at maximum range while the Quickblades use their Vault power to engage and slow the Gladiators.

After Crixus falls, Spartacus joins the fray and plows through everyone in his path. Finally, he squares off against Manauvi. Aided by the last remaining Greyspear hurling attacks from a safe distance, Manauvi stops Spartacus.

Together, Manauvi and the Greyspear finish off the last Capuan.

Wolfpack wins with one Greyspear and Manauvi with no wounds remaining. Overall, the Wolfpack played well together. By keeping the last Greyspear alive, I never had to change order markers. I'm curious to see how Manauvi performs in future games, as he was a beast (pun intended) in this one.
