Colonial Vipers for X-Wing Miniatures Game

I'm a big fan of Battlestar Galactica but couldn't find any miniatures that were scaled to fit the X-Wing game, so I decided to make my own.

First, I bought this keychain

made a mold for resin casting

and cast some miniatures.

Next, I painted them up. I intentionally made them a little rough and battered-looking. (And my detail work leaves much to be desired.)

I drilled a small hole in the bottom of each and used Sculpey to get them just the right size.

And here are a couple of the finished Vipers. They aren't perfect, either in terms of painting or casting, but they look pretty good and are a good scale for the X-Wing game!
